It all started with the invitation. For this project I designed the branding for our wedding, wanting to create a visual language that would feel personal, consistent, and above all — ours. The invitation served as the starting point for the concept, and from it I developed a complete design system that included personal handwriting, illustrations, and elements that connected to our story and shared interests. The visual language was applied across every touchpoint of the event, from the Save the Date through to the table details and entrance mirror.

Searching for the direction The first step was to explore several different visual directions and try to understand which language would translate our character most accurately. I moved through compositions, typographies, and different illustration styles, until I realized I wanted to bring something more personal into the design — my own handwriting and the handmade, illustrative quality of the drawings. From there, a direction began to form that eventually became the foundation for the entire branding.

Menus & Table Numbers The visual language developed for the invitation continued onto the event table. The menu and table numbers were designed as part of the same design system, preserving the typography, color palette, and illustrations established early in the process. For the table numbers I added another personal element: childhood photos of ours, matched to the table number. A functional detail like a table number became part of the event's personal story.
